At the conference, Professor Guo Xiheng from Chaoyang Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University gave clinical professional lectures on non-invasive positive pressure ventilation for the treatment of OSA, chronic respiratory failure, and remote management of sleep respiratory disorders to the audience.

Noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) refers to an assisted mechanical ventilation mode that connects the ventilator and the patient through a nasal mask or a face mask, without the need for endotracheal intubation and tracheotomy to establish an artificial airway. It is an important means of respiratory support in contemporary times. At the conference, combined with the current actual situation of chronic respiratory diseases and specific clinical diagnosis and treatment examples, Professor Guo focused on analyzing the operating technical specifications and applications of different modes of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation for different diseases. In addition, Professor Guo also focused on explaining the remote management of chronic sleep respiratory diseases.
